We Want More Bryson Tiller 2.0

Last year we heard and asked Who is Bryson Tiller? In the post we had a lot more questions than answers. A year later and my only real question is why not more music from Bryson Tiller?

After the big hype raised around Bryson with his shoutout from Drake and his plethora of covers and remakes which were all over vine and other social media, he’s been quiet, putting in work and coming back hard with a number of tracks providing us with the sound we’ve come oh so accustom to, the young star from Kentucky is here to stay for the long haul.

In anticipation to his first studio album “T R A P S O U L” he has dropped a few tracks just to refresh our memories of his very unique sound, both in rapping and singing. His recent release of the song “Just another interlude” produced by J - Louis, proves Bryson’s writing ability to be up there near his inspirations as he mentioned on his Instagram, Drake and Omarion. He highlights “Brias Interlude” being his favourite ever!

“Pen Griffey 2” as he is also known as has spent a lot of time out on the west coast producing his upcoming album but doesn’t stay to far from the homeland, often giving it up to his hometown state, Kentucky. It’s evident many of his new tracks have pulled inspiration from his Kentucky roots.

The compilation of successful stars namely Drake, and his producers of the likes of Timbaland in the track “Sorry not sorry”, another banger, hitting hard with a solid beat and equalling quality bars. All these other talents have helped hone and refine his skill set. We await the first, inevitable collaboration between himself and Drake, sure to be bringing the heat.

I do like the fact that Bryson hasn’t forgotten what helped in his come up, still doing sampled covers, like one he released of the Drake track “How about now“, putting his own personal spin on it.

Don’t Worry” really displays the versatility of this young Louisville product, coming hard with a solid flow and track presence, this is the track you are after if you want to here a solid beat and bars to go with them.

In my last article, based on his covers I compared him to a “Karaoke Drake“, which i totally take back. Bryson has come into a wave of his own and has improved in leaps and bounds, slowly fulfilling and exceeding expectations first set here!

Now if you were to drop a surprise album anytime now Bryson, we wouldn’t complain!
