Bobii Lewis hasn’t let us down in 2018 so far, hailing from north-east London, this 26 year old has been making major moves in the industry, with his latest effort being the video for his new single ‘Force You’ featuring Not3s. This single is just another addition to prove that he is one to watch out for this year.
Remembered for his sleek soulful vocals, Bobii has been labelled a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer and musician. Infused with RnB, his influences of reggae and hip-hop create easy-listening and catchy music. Wretch 32, Avelino, Stefflon Don and Dotty are just a few names that Bobii has collaborated with, and this latest collaboration with Not3s is the perfect way to start the summer, and should be a definite addition to any summer playlist.
Here is a quote from Bobii on his latest single:
‘Force you came together so organically in the studio with IO. From the opening chords we knew we were on to something and having Not3s feature too was the cherry on top. The video dips in to animation – using pops of colour and graphics to reflect the lyrics. The concept is simple but visual, allowing people to connect to the meaning of the song in their own way.’ – Bobii Lewis.
Asylum 33 have made a visual masterpiece in the video for ‘Force You’. Generally speaking, less is more, but the plethora of contrasting colour and visual effects across various locations keeps you hooked right through to the end. Check it out here:
