The aim for our events was simple. Find the talent and bring them to the stage. But not just any talent, they have to be ones we can truly see making it big time!
If you have been to one of our Under The Spotlight events in the past, you’ll agree that we get it right more times than not.
This year will be no different as we bring to you a new concept in UTS:Local. Our aim stays the same. However this time we pick talents by area.
First stop, we head over to East London to present east London talents we are expecting big things from in the near-future.

Ayar is a smooth rapper with neo soul influences and a good ear for beats.
Charlie Mase is the versatile rapper with big personality!
Kesh is an edgy UK R&B vocalist straight out of Essex who adds her unique spice on covers as well as original work.
Hackney’s YB Jefe is a master of the melodic rap flow bringing his own flavour into the scene.
Kaiser of 316 has been working hard perfecting his sounds and may have found his winning formula with recent back to back bangers.
La Swave is a rapper we have featured on SpotlightFirst a few times. A rapper with things to say.
Newham rapper, Kritz93 is blowing up with his most recent single ‘Woah’ getting loads of radio play across stations including BBC 1xtra.
Hackney rapper has been making waves underground with real lyrics and catchy beats. Such consistency is due to pay off soon.
