Stormzy makes the new FORBES Class of 2017 list!

FORBES released a brand new list of Hip-Hop Cash Princes for 2017 – The Princes list is composed of  acts most likely to ascend to Cash Kings status at some point in their career. Cash King Status has long been a sought after title for many rappers in Hip Hop, presumably for bragging rights as well as a new punchline or two.

FORBES, as with the rest of us, have now caught the Stormzy fever making him the only UK artist to appear on this years list. Having already shifted more than 1 million singles and being well on his way, this week, to having his album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ debut at number one; Stormzy makes for a worthy addition to the Hip Hop Cash Princes list.

Little Simz, a judge on this years Hip Hop Cash prince had this to say about Stormzy

“He is an inspiration to many and there no limitations on how far he will take it, because he’s doing this on his own terms.”

The remaining judges consisted of Kendrick Lamar’s manager Dave Free, veteran rapper Too Short and FORBES staffer Natalie Robehmed.

Rounding up the Hip Hop Cash Prince list were Tory Lanez, Desiigner, Bryson Tiller, Noname, Young M.A, Isaiah Rashad, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and D.R.A.M.
