Kanye West unveils “thought provoking” visuals for “Famous”

Kanye West’s latest music video “Famous” premiered to a live audience at the L.A. forum event, is quite thought provoking to say the least.

Clearly inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s ‘Sleep’ painting, the Chicago rapper decided to feature a number of familiar faces he has found himself associated with figures of himself, George Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner and Bill Cosby can all be seen in the video laying side by side in bed, seemingly asleep.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Kayne said “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]. It’s a comment on fame.” He also mentioned that his celebrity friends who did not feature in the video informed him that “….they want to be in the bed” upon previewing the video.

Is it art? A message to his friends and family? A joke? One thing is for certain, Kanye has the internet talking about him again.
