After the release of EP ‘Malone’ late last year, Gabzy returns with yet another chart-topper, titled ‘Pull Up’.
It’s rare for Gabzy to disappoint his fans, and this release is no exception. Produced by the infamous Lekaa Beats, and Gabzy’s trusted producer-partner Melvitto, Gabzy has created another track that is sure to be in my “On Repeat’.
The chorus is so catchy, and I already find myself singing parts of the song randomly throughout my day – solidifying that he has done it again! With equally captivating lyrics like “YSL bag – YSL heels” it just goes to show that Gabzy knows his audience, and what lyrics would make for a great Instagram caption!
As the anticipation for a good summer ramps up, this afro-R&B track has the potential to carry us through – also setting the tone that we will be OUTSIDE! We can finally deviate from social media and actually ‘pull up’ on friends and love interests. It’s definitely one for the summer. Gabzy’s first solo release of 2021 has me anticipating much more from him, and I truly wonder just how many of his songs will end up in my most played this year.
