UK producer and A&R Finch Fetti lists 4 recently discovered artists whom he’d like to hear more from. This week the spotlight is on:

Shasimone, Feux, Kwes e & Nino

 [1] Shasimone (UK)

Ideal for Fans of: Shaybo & Br3nya

Description: Shasimone has the classic UK Rap energy, you would expect from a slick talking London rapper. Her confidence and brashness spills over in her delivery and lyrical content. She has an intense British tone that is captivating and further enhanced by her sharp and engaging flow as she rattles off witty and bold lyrics. Her production on her ‘ Free The Real Freestyle’ is one of those classic UK Rap styled instrumentals you could hear the likes of J Hus or even Blade Brown rapping over, the beat serves as a great canvas for Shasimone to express her personality, charisma and lyrical ability.

Favourite Release: Shasimone – Free The Real Freestyle

Latest Release: Shasimone – Supersize

[2]  Feux (UK)

Ideal for Fans of: Mike Skinner & Mac Miller

Description: Feux has elements of the 90’s New York Hip Hop era to his sound, which overall is very chill and has a very laid back sunday vibe to it. He raps effortless over smooth chill beats while still maintaining his British tone and giving it a unique yet recognisable sound. Feux is a talented wordsmith but also dabbles with a more melodic approach within some of his songs, which gives his music some range. ‘Fear’ is one of Feux song’s where he effortlessly alternates between rapping and smoothly singing over a more Trap influenced production. This is definitely one of those songs that will hit in a car during one of those long late night drives.

Favourite Release: Feux – Fear

Latest Release: Feux – Cloud Nine

[3] Kwes e (UK)

Ideal for Fans of: Father & Sam Wise

Description: Kwes e has a very diverse sound and range when it comes to describing his music. You could him rapping on anything from UK Deep House Beat, to a US Atlanta Trap beat or even an Old School 90’s Hip Hop type beat. I can say that the general theme of his music is experimental and always has a light hearted and uplifting fun vibe to it. He has quite a contagious British indie rock esque cadence that makes you instantly want to rap/sing along to his tracks, his flow is pretty laid back and has a very calming mood to it. His track ‘Dolce’ is definitely one of those songs that embodies what I discussed above and is one of the tracks you would have both in your chill and house party playlist.

Favourite Release: Kwes e – Dolce

Latest Release: Kwes e – Director’s Cut EP

[4] Nino (UK)

Ideal for Fans of: D Block Europe & GeeYou

Description: Nino has a smooth melodic UK Trap Wave sound that has a very passionate and retrospective feel to it. His cadence is very heartfelt and the lyrics are clearly made to be raw and vulnerable as he paints a clear picture of the things he goes through on a day to day. ‘Make It Back’ is one of those street anthems you could easily see a crowd of people singing along to at a show, this track is also one that would be perfect for those long late night car drives.
